Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: August 2026

Welcome to Ali Ahmad's QA Consulting & Testing Services ("we," "us," or "our"). By engaging our services, you ("Client," "you") agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Scope of Services

We provide software quality assurance, testing automation, API testing, performance testing, and consulting services as outlined in the mutually agreed Statement of Work (SOW) or proposal. Any changes to the scope will require written agreement.

2. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to provide timely access to necessary resources, including but not limited to software documentation, test environments, API keys, credentials, and access to relevant team members required to execute the agreed-upon services.

3. Confidentiality (NDA)

We respect the sensitive nature of your proprietary software and data. Both parties agree to keep all confidential information completely secure and not disclose it to any third party without prior written consent. If required, we are happy to sign a separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before commencing work.

4. Payment Terms

Invoices are issued according to the billing schedule defined in the SOW (e.g., upfront retainer, monthly, or milestone-based). Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date unless otherwise stated. Late payments may incur a penalty fee.

5. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment for the services rendered, the Client shall retain all intellectual property rights to the test scripts, automation frameworks, documentation, and reports created specifically for the Client during the engagement. We retain the rights to any pre-existing tools, libraries, or methodologies used.

6. Limitation of Liability

While we strive to identify all critical defects and ensure the highest quality of your software, testing is an inherently probabilistic process. We cannot guarantee that software will be 100% bug-free. We shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of your software after deployment.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate the engagement by providing a 14-day written notice. In the event of termination, the Client is responsible for paying for all work completed up to the termination date.
