Project Overview
CareCloud is a massive, enterprise-scale healthcare platform that provides Electronic Health Records (EHR), practice management software, and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) billing services to thousands of medical practices across the United States.
The system is vast and highly interconnected. A bug in the front-desk scheduling module could easily cascade and break the backend billing module. The primary QA goal was to ensure absolute stability and data integrity across the entire ecosystem during frequent, high-stakes production updates.
Testing Strategy & Focus
I performed deep functional, regression, and integration testing across the platform's core operational modules.
• I rigorously tested the EHR system, verifying that complex role-based access control (RBAC) permissions worked correctly, ensuring that doctors, nurses, and billing staff could only access the specific patient records permitted by their role.
• I tested the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) billing module extensively. I generated hundreds of test insurance claims, verifying they met strict clearinghouse formats (such as ANSI 837 and 835) and handled complex multi-payer coordination correctly.
• I conducted cross-browser and cross-device testing on the integrated telehealth video feature, ensuring the WebRTC connection was stable, low-latency, and fully encrypted for patient privacy.
